One Purpose. Four Passions.

At The Church at Severn Run, we’re committed to living one purpose in four passions.  What does that mean?  Among other things, it means we want to invest our lives for a noble purpose far bigger than ourselves.

We’re not perfect, and we’re not interested in cultural Christianity; we want to make disciples!  A disciple is someone who actually follows Jesus as Lord on a Mission for life.  That’s why we want to be clear about our purpose.  Our purpose is to build a church of passionate disciples who follow Jesus as Lord on a Mission for life.  So, we live this one purpose through the four daily passions.  Growing disciples:

1. Worship-celebrating God as the center of life.  Worship includes:
    a. Gathering weekly
    b. Reading Scripture daily
    c. Praying continually
    d. Giving, our hearts, lives, and tithes/resources

2. Share-helping others find and follow Jesus;

3. Connect-doing life together in love from God's Word;

4. Serve-humbly meeting the needs of others, for Jesus!             

As we live faith, we change life. Jesus called us to lives of passionate action.  Please know that you are wanted. Please know that you are invited to join us on the incredible Mission of Jesus saving the world….
